AFTER PURCHASING A SAMSUNG MONITOR "FIN DE SERIE" in informatica el Corte Ingles, we found that it did not work.
We took it back.
El Corte Ingles wanted us to leave the defective monitor - so they could send it back to the manufacturer and have them repair or replace it.
Our understanding of the law - is that el Corte Inglés needs to replace the defective monitor as they are responsible for selling it.
To date - we have sent two reclamaciones - both expressly asking for NO PHONE CALLS - just emails.
The Corte Inglés refuses to write anything.
Today May 14, 2013 - we had a phone call from Aldolfo Benito - Responsable de Informatica. Twelve minutes.
We again - said we need their answers in writing. He refused.
Basically he said they would send the monitor to Samsung to be repaired. We answered - better to replace -- yet we need a written time statement to decide.
This man refused to answer this commitment in writing. We excused ourselves then and hung up. This man was - again - refusing to write any solid solutions. Lots of promises - but verbal - yet they expected us to sign an ambiguous contract. Just send a new monitor and take this one back.
Above you see the times we phoned reclamaciones - and recorded the calls. Of course - we advised that the calls were being recorded - as required by law.
901 122 122 - 50 minutes - plus this blog - plus another 12 minutes today - not to mention the 90 minutes of visiting informatica.
So - we will now study a denuncia por amenaza - penal - against the Jose Luis Rodriguez who we recorded threatening us - and fraud.
July 12, 2013 - We have been phoning reclamaciones for 35 minutes. We record all of our calls and will show you this fact. For now we have uploaded the essentials.
The calls were telling us all operators are busy - wait. After 3 minutes and 11 seconds - all these calls disconnected.
FINALLY AFTER 45 MINUTES - WE WERE ABLE TO SPEAK WITH RECLAMACIONES - WHO TOLD US TO PHONE THE CENTRAL OF THE CORTE INGLES EN LA CASTELLANA
WE DID THIS - it took 15 more minutes - finally we got through and someone informed us that Adolfo Benito does not work where I phoned (informatica) and to call back and tell the central to find him in "sonido".
I finally got to talk to Adolfo Benito - who refused to send me an email last May 14th - describing their intentions to resolve this claim.

ANY REPUTABLE BUSINESS WOULD WRITE A PROPOSED SOLUTION TO MY CLAIM.
